Title: ESPN: Vanderbilt's secondary a concern for Tide
Post by: pmull on October 05, 2011, 01:04:43 PM
Vanderbilt leads the SEC and the nation with 14 interceptions. Three of those picks have been returned for touchdowns.

Saban said the thing that makes Vanderbilt’s secondary so tough to game plan against is that it does a good job of disguising what it does by mixing up its pressures and coverages.

The other thing is that this unit is just downright talented.

Seems like we pretty much live on the short passing game so that may work to our advantage, depending on the speed of Vandy's DBs. Also, there's some guy named Richardson who seems to be able to run the ball pretty good ....

#+ hey cbbama I know you deserve one on that. We can throw but we got to establish TR and EL first. I was concerned that Fowler didn't do better Sat night. My compliments! RTR!

ESPN has to write something to make the game sound more interesting.

Good morning.  If the Vandy D gets a tipped ball for an interception, they'll all break for the buses with their winnings.
