Title: Are we complacent? Post by: 2Stater on September 17, 2021, 05:50:01 PM We are playing UF in the Swamp. They aren't chopped liver. Not much chatter this week. Slam dunk?
Title: Re: Are we complacent? Post by: ricky023 on September 17, 2021, 06:28:08 PM I hope the players are more pumped than ever. We have a running QB to go against and we always have problems with them. I remember a guy from TA&M came to Bryant-Denney and beat us with his running as a matter of fact a couple of them did. So, gosh I hope the players are ready, and I am not sure Will Anderson is gonna be a 100%. RTR!

Slam dunk? Their starting QB, Jones, is crap. They lost one of the best receivers (a tight end) to the draft. We have a solid defense, our QB looks solid. I think Dan Mullen might be overrated, Saban isn't. Would love to see more of our young receivers. Robinson & Sanders look good at RB. I picked Tide to win by 21, so I thnk UF has some major holes in their team. Don't see how we can be complacent with so many young players trying to show their stuff. :snob: :snob: :snob: Title: Re: Are we complacent? Title: Re: Are we complacent? Post by: Chechem on September 19, 2021, 11:51:03 AM Our DB's are getting eat up. RTR! Maybe. One HUGE play yesterday was when Fla was on their own goal line with 3rd and long. Somehow Hellums was in position to stop/breakup the pass, but ran right past the receiver. Huh? Did he not see the ball, not see the receiver, didn't want to get a targeting, WHAT? That play allowed them to continue to a 99-yd drive. Not blaming Hellums, even though he had a bad game, but wondering what happened. I'd like to know his take on it. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: Title: Re: Are we complacent? I don't know couldn't actually see it but whoever watched the game I wish thewy would speak on our tackling efforts. RTR! Title: Re: Are we complacent? Fla's O-line was gashing our D-line, so RBs were racing through full speed to the second level, and D-backs were having to tackle 1-on-1 (never easy). Looked like last year's Ole Miss game on D-line. |
