They’ve hung their hat on beating OU for what, 7 years or so? Play them every year, right after playing Texas and Okie St. Then we’ll take them seriously. ;)

I looked desperately for someone else to put ahead of them so I could leave them off but the pickings where pretty slim by the time I got down to number 15. It's a long ways from Austin to Boise (1368 miles), plus the airport is modest and the stadium is small. Idaho does not bring a fan base or TV market. The "Blue Grass" stadium they play in holds 33,500. Travel cost for current Big 12 teams will be unreal. They have a decent football program but I have never heard of them in any other sport. It will be pretty cold playing a baseball game in Boise in March. Like you said it was hard to find anyone to put in front of them. I left the boogers off. |
