Worst call of the night was a 4th Q screwup lateral/pass by OM. It indeed was a lateral, but the idiot receiver stood there until a MSU player casually picked it up. At first, after review, the refs said “inadvertent whistle, OM ball; replay the down”, then a pause, another huddle for 5 minutes and an announcement that State recovered the fumble.
