Bama picked up a home win over Mizzou last night 93-75. The win improves the record to 12-5 (4-0).

How are they playing in this cold?  And if they got any snow in T-town, they will lose their balls in it... :panic:

Bama lost most of their games to quality teams by close scores. They hadn't even had a chance to gel and develop chemistry. It looks like they are finding themselves now in conference play. Off to a good start.

This is true.  Bama played and lost close games to three-top10 teams.  Those games could easily have gone our way so at least IMO, those were "good" losses when it comes to the selection to make the dance or not.

I think CNO is gonna be or already is a good BB coach for us. RTR!

I don't know if the team had the flu or what, but 10RC curb-stomped us 91-71.

If you see Tenrc play they are a very good team. RTR!

They are a good team but I didn't think they were a '20 points better than us' team.

That train wreck was hard to watch.  We have got to get better on defense.

It happened at Tenn last year too but in a different way. We only lost by 9 but scored only 59 points. The score was closer than the game.

We are still in good shape. We are in a 3-way tie for 2nd in the league. Beat Auburn at home on Wednesday and we are tied for 1st. We need to put the UT game behind us and get ready to beat our biggest rival on our home floor.

I truly don't think that Tenrc is 20 points better but those off days come hard to high ranked teams. RTR!

22 turnovers and lack of defense will get you beat like that.

Well going to auburn is gonna be no fun they are great this year. My pick right now is they will be in the Final 4 this year. RTR!

We need a win against Auburn tonight.  This team has played some close games against good teams, but hasn't gotten over the hump.   We could use a win vs a top 10 team to build some confidence.

I hate to say this I believe auburn by 15 at least. Auburn is a good team this year. RTR!

Maybe, but I will watch regardless.  CNO called the team out yesterday in the press, so I am curious to see how they respond.

Huge game today. Playing at home is a big advantage. My gut tells me we will play well and get a good Quad 1 win.

Bama holding their own late in the first half.  25-24 Bama with  6 minutes left...

At halftime Bama is leading by 14 points and TONS of momentum.  I hope they can maintain the intensity they finished the 1st half through the 2nd half.

The defensive effort tonight is outstanding!  When we play like this...

I didn't get to watch the Bama/LSU game last night.  But from what I heard, we put a good ole whuppin on them.  The final score was 109-88.

Alabama is currently 7th in the NET rankings, which the tournament folks supposedly use similar to the old RPI.

A surprising comeback tonight.  Road wins in the SEC are always tough to come by!

The defensive effort was much better last night and kept us in the game when the scoring went cold.

I was informed on Monday by a co-worker who is also a Barner that Bama doesn't stand a chance tonight against the Barn. I guess that settles it. We're just gonna lose the game and totally ruin our season.  No need to even go to the NCAA Dance or anything...   :panic:

Alabama needs to get back on a winning streak starting this morning at LSU. Game tip is 11:00.

Bama pulled away late to beat the corndogs 109-92. That is the second consecutive game against LSU that we scored 109 points. It also breaks the Bama basketball record for most points on the road.

Pros: This team is fun to watch. When we hit our shots, we can beat anyone. Pringle has his best game of the year. We need more of that. Any road win is a good win. Bama is tied for the league lead with a 9-2 record. Currently projected as a #3 seed.

Cons: This team needs to learn how to play defense. Teams with a big post player give us trouble.

pmull you are right one thing I noticed was we are slow on defense. auburn put it on us at their house but it seems them and Tenn. give us the biggest trouble. RTR!

Bama got a big home win in OT over Florida last night. We did not play well against a very good Florida team but found a way to win. We are now 19-7 and in first place alone in the SEC with an 11-2 record. We are projected as a #3 seed right now and rising.

Tenn. is gonna be a rough game. We will see how we can do the rest of the way. RTR!

Ben Nelson has finally figured out he is 6'11" and is taller than most folks on the court. He had 6 blocks last night. Wish he was 20-30 pounds heavier. Way too skinny.
