I guess some thinks it was a good year. I don't. I do not know what happen to our girl's playing for championships. RTR!

We are playing for championships. We won our regional and we are two wins from the WCWS. We lost a game we should have won yesterday. This not one of our better teams. No one who has watched them play would say that. The bar for Alabama Softball is high. Coach Murphy became head coach in 1999 (year 3 for the program). We have made the NCAA Tournament every year. The longest streak in the country. Super Regionals started in 2005. We have made the Supers all but one year. We have played in more Supers than any other team. We have played in 14 WCWS. We have made it to the WCWS 3 out of the last 4 years (not counting Covid year). We are one of the top programs in the country year in and year out.

I do not expect to beat UT in the next two games. Yes it will be disappointing to not make the WCWS. I do not think it is accurate to say the program is in decline and, in my opinion, it would be crazy to consider a head coaching change.

We need to improve our hitting. We have a team full of attractive young women. While I like that we need a few big boned girls that can hit with power.

I hope the team catches fire today and extends their season. It is a long shot, but anything is possible.

Hey pmull thanks for the update. See I was lost when I said we were going down I just see what we do year by year which I guess is just jumping to a conclusion by lack of knowledge. Again thanks for the update. RTR!

Bama wins Game 2. We are one win away from the WCWS. It is a long shot but anything can happen in one game. Roll Tide!!!!

I will gladly eat my crow if they win today.  :D

What an incredible upset. Murph seems to be able to get the best out of them at the right time. Very proud of this team!

This team can't hit. We found just enough offense to beat UT. Pitching is outstanding. I hate we only got Kayla Beaver for one year. She is a stud. Briski looks like a good young pitcher. She is not dominate but she gets a lot of ground balls for easy outs and does not give up many runs. Beaver and Briski have to be at their best and the offense must manufacture some offense for us to have any success in the WCWS. 

We have doubted this team the last two weeks in both the Regional and Super. I am thrilled we get more softball. Coach Murphy's teams perform in the post season. It is another long shot but maybe this team has one more week of whatever Mojo they found after the SEC Tournament.

pmull you were right in your description the other day to me. I was wrong, this team is showing to be a lot better than I thought. Thanks for the kind help in seeing better. RTR!
