Title: "Confidence high as Rebels prep for Crimson Tide" Post by: Chechem on October 11, 2011, 05:01:35 AM Quote A losing record and six weeks of general volatility hasn’t tempered confidence at Ole Miss. As is becoming tradition leading into its annual meeting with Alabama, currently ranked second nationally, at least one Rebel player isn’t preparing concession speeches for Saturday night. “Alabama is just Alabama,” first-year starting quarterback Randall Mackey told reporters in Oxford last week. “They’ve got a real good defense from the d-line to the secondary. There are still, I’m not going to say weaknesses, you know, they ain’t Superman. So they can be beat.” http://annistonstar.com/bookmark/15996128?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+AnnistonStar%2FTideSports+%28Anniston+Star+Tide+Sports%29 Title: Re: "Confidence high as Rebels prep for Crimson Tide" Post by: 2Stater on October 11, 2011, 05:13:38 AM Quote A losing record and six weeks of general volatility hasn’t tempered confidence at Ole Miss. Mackey's running ability can cause headaches for a defense, but his throwing ability is nothing to be afraid of. What worries me is that it's on the road, we're tired, and Nutt always has a few tricks up his sleeve. I know the coaches will get the boys ready. I just hope they listen. We need to come out early and clamp down on Ole Miss and force them to play from behind. That will force them to throw and lead to many ints.

Title: Re: "Confidence high as Rebels prep for Crimson Tide" Post by: bamaphil on October 11, 2011, 09:24:25 AM Our kicker broke Florida's star running back and our defense has broken the last 2 QBs they've faced. He might want to keep his mouth shut.
This is why I don't mind Saban not letting players talk to the media.
