Title: All things considered, Alabama is in relatively good health Post by: Coach Hank Crisp on October 11, 2011, 08:11:33 AM http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/10/all_things_considered_alabama.html
Quote (http://media.al.com/alphotos/photo/-f07e7d9aba56530b.jpg) The grind of college football season is bound to ding players here and there, and second-ranked Alabama is no exception. Arguably the most significant injury news came Monday when Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban announced second-string offensive right tackle Arie Kouandjio could miss the remainder of the season. Kouandjio, the older brother of highly heralded left tackle Cyrus Kouandjio, is coping with a knee injury that could require surgery. C.J. Mosley participated in the full regimen of drills during the media viewing period Monday after he missed the past two weeks with an elbow injury. Also back is Chris Jordan, who is battling through a back injury. And with Eddie Lacy expected to return to practice today after missing the 34-0 win against Vanderbilt with a sore foot, the Tide is relatively in good shape entering Saturday's game at Ole Miss. Compared to last season, Alabama has been relatively healthy through its first six games. |
