LSU still is ranked No. 1. The two Southeastern Conference schools are less than three weeks away from a Nov. 5 showdown at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Oklahoma still is ranked No. 3, followed by Wisconsin and Boise State. LSU received 41 first-place votes, one more than a week ago. Alabama received 11, which also is one more than it received a week ago. Oklahoma received six first-place votes, two less than it got last week. LSU tops the poll with 1,452 points, two more than a week ago. Alabama trails by 41 points, four less than a week ago. Oklahoma trails LSU by 80 points, 12 more than it did last week.
