What they really need is something interesting to happen on the field. Saturday was yet another uneventful day at the top of the rankings as the top nine teams in last week's AP poll won by an average margin of 30.5 points (No. 10 Arkansas didn't play). Only No. 8 Clemson (7-0), which rallied from an 18-point deficit to beat Maryland 56-45, was in danger of losing in the fourth quarter.
