Title: Tennessee running back Tauren Poole talks Alabama football Post by: Coach Hank Crisp on October 17, 2011, 10:37:01 PM http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/10/tennessee_running_back_tauren.html
Quote Is this the best 'Bama team you've faced? "Yes sir, by far. This is best defense. They are a great overall team. They are great in all facets of the game special teams, offense, defense, coaching, whatever way you want to put it. They are definitely the best team in the country to me. We are going to have to bring our best." On comparing Alabama to LSU... "It's going to be a different level Saturday. I feel like Bama is a more physical football team. LSU prides itself on speed and not letting you out run them. Bama is not going to let you out physically play them. It's as simple as that. They are going to be physical up front. The linebackers and even the secondary is physical. We have to get ready to play a physical football game for 60 minutes." Title: Re: Tennessee running back Tauren Poole talks Alabama football Post by: td57 on October 18, 2011, 06:49:55 AM Poole seems like a fine young man. A lot of guys would have taken those questions and talked trash but he was refreshingly honest. He’s not backing down, just knows it will take everything they have to stay in the game. He even seemed concerned about the future of the rivalry if 10RC keeps getting blown out. Unusual coming from a Vol. We’ve come to expect only thugs who can’t spell their own name, much less the word orange. I wish him well.
That said, Poole is the one who broke Bama’s string of games not allowing a 100 yard runner. I hope the “D” remembers that. But do y'all think Tenn has a good OL? Title: Re: Tennessee running back Tauren Poole talks Alabama football Post by: SUPERCOACH on October 18, 2011, 09:44:16 AM Poole seems like a fine young man. They don't have a lot of good players on the field right now, but CDD has their head on straight. He may do well at UT after a few years of recruiting. He may see playing time pretty quickly Saturday. |
