According to this site, http://www.mrsec.com/2010/12/sec-drug-policies-arent-created-equal/, LSU's policy is to not suspend players after the first failed drug test.  So, it would seem logical that this is the second failed drug test.  LSU's policy for a second failed drug test is a suspension of 15% of the season.  Taken conservatively at 12 games, 15% of 12 is 1.8.  Who thinks Les doesn't round down?   :D

That's true, but it's likely we caught a break too.  These guys will be out for the remainder of the season if they cheated or lied about it.  There is more to this than a "random drug test".  You can bet that they were tested based on previous information or previous testing.

Ok, I'm wondering who doles out the punishment?  Les Miles or the NCAA itself?  I googled prior cases and there was a UNLV basektball player who was given 1 year suspension for marijuana direction from the NCAA..and he was 22 years old.  I don't know if it was multiple times or what.

A former player told me it is extremely hard to fail a drug test because they are given a calendar of the dates the test are done.  I don't know if this is actually true.
