"Barrett is fine," Alabama coach Nick Saban said Wednesday night.

Jones confirmed that but wouldn't disclose what the problem is.

"I feel good," Jones said. "Kind of a little nagging injury, but I'm going to be fine."

Anthony Steen has not participated in drills all week as he recovers from a concussion that he suffered Saturday in a 52-7 victory at Ole Miss, but Saban seems to believe the starting right guard is making progress.

As he did Tuesday, freshman Cyrus Kouandjio filled in for Jones at left tackle. Senior Alfred McCullough has been filling in for Steen at right guard all week.
