"That's something we really emphasized, and we're working hard at," Alabama coach Nick Saban said Wednesday. "Everyone on the coverage team has to understand they have to do their job. They didn't do their job inside out last week." Cade Foster still only has one touchback on 45 kickoffs this season. Through seven games, however, opponents are averaging only 19.7 yards. One problem is that because the Tide has scored often, opponents have had 50 kickoff returns. The Tide has punted only 25 times in seven games. Opponents have returned only eight for an average of 4.9 yards per return. |
