Then the NCAA said a it was an extra benefit, so coaches could not do it anymore. I know that G-Mac bought them last year. No NCAA rule saying a player can not buy things for his teammates ...yet.

Does that count? :lol: This wasn't really newsworthy. I needed one of those big ones that have 4 notches (3 sections). The only way to get one is to spend about $25 on a specific set that has exactly 1 in it, with about a hundred of those little bitty ones. Most sets don't have any of them at all. I looked on their web site to see if you could buy individual logs, but they don't do that evidently. You need some big 4 notchers if you are going to build the Ponderosa. Those little two room shacks that you can build with most sets are for hillbillies. I never did stain it, otherwise you wouldn't even know it was a home made one. |
