If you can find him please clue me in. He's never on the Gamecock board. I think he had an epiphany on the Road to Prattville (or whereever his son played against Alabama H.S. teams) he was on here(you know what I mean) more than he was ever on the Home Board. . That young man is 3 now?! #+ Keep him spoiled my friend...lol Take care! Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: Allie on March 19, 2011, 07:03:55 PM He's 3???
Wow... can't believe it's been 3 years. Psstttttt.... Hey sweetie. :-) (when I was in the recovery room after having my gallbladder out I was loopy. I was given my laptop and was chatting on TS.. I apparently was quite entertaining. Calling Lawzoo Sweetie was one of the things I heard I did... I remember none of it) Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: lawzoo on March 19, 2011, 08:05:13 PM He's 3??? Wow... can't believe it's been 3 years. Hey Allie,,,long time no see! Yeah, Aug. 2007 actually 3 1/2. How are your two boys? Fine and well I hope-----Sweetie! :D Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: Allie on March 19, 2011, 08:14:29 PM He's 3??? Wow... can't believe it's been 3 years. Hey Allie,,,long time no see! Yeah, Aug. 2007 actually 3 1/2. How are your two boys? Fine and well I hope-----Sweetie! :D They haven't killed each other yet... lol. The oldest is 13 and taller than me.. size 11 shoe. He makes straight A's and scored high enough on SAT's that we're getting letters from Duke. (98th percentile nationally) I keep telling him when he grows up he has to hire his brother. The little one is 10 and still challenging.. he hasn't brought me any more snakes in gallon ziplock bags but I have gotten to know his teachers quite well.. they text me, call me, email me... He seems to think school is where you go to relax. Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: lawzoo on March 19, 2011, 08:23:41 PM He's 3??? Wow... can't believe it's been 3 years. Hey Allie,,,long time no see! Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: Allie on March 19, 2011, 08:29:26 PM I'm not pushing the Duke thing.. they want him to take the ACT now and see how he does. They also want him to do weekend classes and summer seminars starting this summer. There are scholarships available but it's still expensive.. I would pay for it if I thought it was the best thing for him. My hang up is the fact that he's 13.. if he does that when does he get a chance to be a kid, play baseball, learn social skills?
It's his call and I'll support him either way but I still feel that a kid needs time to be a kid. He'll be grown soon enough. His applitude test says he would be successful as a surgeon. He's said he wanted to be a doctor since he could talk.. today he told me he might want to go into law because he likes to argue. (rolling my eyes) Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: Allie on March 19, 2011, 08:30:21 PM He's playing basketball now. :-)

Ultimately that's what's important. Frankly, I never encourage young people to go to Law school. The future in the legal field is defineitly narrowing. Surgeon? Great ! Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: Allie on March 19, 2011, 08:56:30 PM I'm not pushing him either way... doctor. lawyer- both are gonna cost me a future in tuition.
The little one wants to be in the army so he can shoot at ppl.. (rolling eyes) I'm not very concerned though- he's scared of the dark and has an issue with ppl telling him what to do. BTW- check your PM's.. :-) Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: lawzoo on March 19, 2011, 09:09:59 PM I'm not pushing him either way... doctor. lawyer- both are gonna cost me a future in tuition. My Dad wanted me to go to West Point(not a chance at an appointment) or The Citadel. Woken up at 5 in the morning to be yelled at? Where do I sign up! But the army will give him options. Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: Allie on March 19, 2011, 09:13:39 PM He won't go outside in the dark unless I go with him...
I am NOT going in the army with him. Title: Re: lawzoo Post by: SUPERCOACH on March 20, 2011, 11:08:26 PM Hey bro! I went over to FB and invited Jody over. Hows that Grandson doin? He is a gamecock through and through...but he brings a lot to the table on here, in terms of philosophy and just down home southern football experience.
