Title: Tide commitment Alec Morris shines again
Post by: Jamos on October 22, 2011, 06:41:52 AM
Morris has really been tested this season, having to play come from behind football in many of Allen High's victories. Friday night was no exception to that and he stepped up to the challenge.

Heard on the radio yesterday that the QB recruit that commited to Indiana has decommited and re-opened his recruitment.

With him and Winston back out there will Saban go after them? Not putting down Morris but these kids are higher recruits, and before someone says it I know that higher recruits don't always pan out, I am just wondering if the need at QB will be one or two?

No, I don't think so Morris has proven himself this year and Kiel had his chance, I think he will end up at Notre Dame. As far as Winston, chances are he ends up in MLB, I think he burned his bridge at Bama when he nationally shunned Bama.

I watched Morris a few weeks ago on TV. He did not have his best game but you could see he is a winner and has a ton of talant. He's huge. I like his size. I think he made a wise decision to play for Alabama and I expect the coaching staff to stick with him.

Regardless of Morris being committed, there is NO WAY you turn away either of the top two QB recruits in the nation is they come calling. I still think Winston goes baseball though. They will throw a lot of money at him and his family and he could always come back to cfb later is baseball doesn't work out. I think Gunner will stay in the midwest. I'd look for some of the traditional schools from that area to start coming on strong for him.

Either way I think we have the best out of the 3. He made his commitment and stayed with it, that means his head is on right. He stands by what he has chosen. RTR!
