More than 600 MB of data from the International Association of Chief of Police, or IACP, (website still down) was released, according to a press release from Anonymous. It included internal documents, membership rosters, home addresses, passwords, social security numbers and more. Along with the IACP data, Anonymous revealed 1000 names and passwords from the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association; 1000 names, ranks, social security numbers, addresses, phone numbers from the Alabama law enforcement systems; and the full contact database Matrix Group, a web development agency serving government websites...............http://venturebeat.com/2011/10/21/anonymous-occupy-wall-street-police/ Title: Re: Alabama law enforcement systems Post by: bama57 on October 22, 2011, 04:26:21 PM but this part I agree with........The "hacktivist" group Anonymous has uncovered what it says was a massive child pornography ring, according to the Examiner.

The Guardian explains that "Darknet websites are part of the Invisible Web, sometimes called the Deep Web, containing content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexed by standard search engines." Anonymous published the usernames of those who frequent Lolita City, which, the Guardian reports, had 100 gigabytes of child porn........http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/22/anonymous-hacks-lolita-city_n_1026327.html?ir=Technology Title: Re: Alabama law enforcement systems Post by: window licker on October 23, 2011, 12:02:02 PM Just wow............

My question is, though, is this the legal way to do it? I wouldn't want to see these guys or girls get into trouble. RTR! Title: Re: Alabama law enforcement systems Post by: bama57 on October 31, 2011, 07:40:04 AM In the past, the hacker collective known as Anonymous has launched cyber attacks on government agencies and financial powerhouses like Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal. Now it's threatening to bring its brand of involuntary public disclosure to one of Mexico's notorious drug cartels..............http://www.pcworld.com/article/242843/anonymous_takes_on_mexican_drug_cartel.html#tk.hp_new
