Big cheer for CNS as he waved a, "Thank you" wave, to the crowd before hitting the tunnel.

At the very end of the video you can see someone in the stands throw something at Coach Saban.   :dunno:

*** edit: looks more like a celebration, cups thrown, and one falls near Coach Saban.

I think I just heard Rocky Top one time last night and there sure wasn't many Tennessee fans at the game. I think it was the fewest that I've ever seen in T-town.

Perhaps their azzes quit (hee hee).  I was thinking about your pregame party about game time yesterday.  Know y'all had fun.

I don't recall them playing it either, given I don't really remember the first 5-10 minutes of the game.

That could explain it.  I don't remember hearing it at all on the TV broadcast.

Talking about scudding up a perfectly good football game-- still not as bad as the tomahawk chop--but close. Danged awful,-- orange eater music.

We get to update that old joke now:

"I don't know; I've only had him 5 years."

"I don't know; UT didn't get a first down yet."

The visiting band is to the left of my seats, and they played Rocky Top several times.

Bama turned it into "Rocky Stop."

You can be sure that celebration lasted about 5 minutes and then: LSU on my mind.

And I don't see a first half letdown in 2 weeks.

They were playing it once then Bama's Band tried to drown them out with a song of their own. They didn't bring their whole band so it wasn't as loud as it usually is.

J, I wonder if the MDB hurt the UT band's feelings like they did UF?  :D

It was kinda funny, when the Tennessee band would play, either the MDB or the piped in music would pretty much drown them out. The cheerleaders would also start the Ala-Bama yell. The few Vols fans that were there did enjoy the wave when it happened.
