Title: SEC BCS standings reaction - An All SEC BCS NCG? Post by: Coach Hank Crisp on October 23, 2011, 08:20:31 PM http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/31238/bcs-standings-reaction-2
Quote The losses left two fan bases stunned and triggered more curiosity for two others. If one or more from among Oklahoma State, Stanford, Boise State and Clemson lose, the loser of the epic Alabama-LSU game on Nov. 5 could slip back into the national championship picture if it keeps it close in Tuscaloosa, Ala., then runs the table in style to close the regular season. The winner would obviously have to win out as well, and that seems mighty doable at this point. A week ago, this dream scenario seemed improbable, but after a little college football chaos, the SEC's dream could actually be a reality. Title: Re: SEC BCS standings reaction - An All SEC BCS NCG? It would be a dream if Bama was to lose and a nightmare if Bama was to win on Nov. 5th. Title: Re: SEC BCS standings reaction - An All SEC BCS NCG? Post by: SUPERCOACH on October 23, 2011, 08:35:06 PM If Bama loses on 11/5 they don't deserve another chance IMO. Neither would LSU. The SEC needs a non-SEC opponent to smack around in the NCG so that there is no doubt about what conference is the best.

Title: Re: SEC BCS standings reaction - An All SEC BCS NCG? Post by: Catch Prothro on October 24, 2011, 10:14:36 AM It is looking more and more like Boise State. That is, assuming Clemson will be Clemson. Stanford might beat Oregon this year, but they haven't really been tested yet. Oklahoma State v. Kansas State will eliminate one team, and they both still have to get past Oklahoma.
Title: Re: SEC BCS standings reaction - An All SEC BCS NCG? Post by: SUPERCOACH on October 24, 2011, 11:10:13 AM I am beginning to think that Wisconsin might still be in it over BSU. If they win out and play Michigan State in the title game, I think they would go in front of BSU. They probably wouldn't go ahead of another major conference undefeated team though.
Title: Re: SEC BCS standings reaction - An All SEC BCS NCG? Post by: SUPERCOACH on October 24, 2011, 11:12:00 AM For that matter, a 1 loss Oklahoma would probably move in front of BSU considering they still play Oklahoma State and Kansas State. :dunno:
