Title: "Maybe Auburn should've kept Tommy Tuberville"
Post by: Chechem on October 27, 2011, 05:22:56 AM
Quote
It looks like Auburn made a mistake getting rid of Tommy Tuberville now that all his players have gone and graduated or left. He goes down to Texas Tech and beats Oklahoma, nearly the top team in the nation. They need to call Tommy Tuberville back.

Indeed, the Boog's on-field coaching is lacking.  They get a B+ in recruiting, but a D in coaching.

Was the comment about Bama hiring Les Miles a failed attempt at humor or are they just ignorant?

That quote was apparently "an attempt at humor", but it was... FAIL.

Look, I knew Tommy Tuberville when he was at Ole Miss.  He was a good coach, but he was slimy.  I've never known a talented coach who was so deceitful and insincere.  I hate the Boogers, but they were better off without him.  They put up with TT as long as they did only because he knew how to win.  Finally his crap caught up with him there too.

Reminds me of the old joke from when Shug died. He was the only one who knew how to get to B'ham.
