In a release, UF confirmed that tight end Gerald Christian and wide receiver Robert Clark have asked for and been granted a release from their scholarships.  Both players were recruited by former head coach Urban Meyer and his coaching staff.

That makes 9 who have left the program since Muschamp took over.  :o

You worry me sometimes.   :-\

If you're saying they have a schizophrenic team (half Urban Meyer, half Muschamp), I agree.  But at this attrition rate, they're 3-4 years from fielding a quality team.

Bama went through the "weeding out the Shula's" process. But maybe they are bailing because for the first time since they signed, people are laughing at them. Or it could be they just hate jorts.

On Muschamp?

Florida has won 4 games this year and the teams that they have beaten have won a total of 6 games. With these players transfering out at the rate they are, it has to get the attention of the "higher ups". If Florida loses this game Saturday and by a big score, there will be some questioning of the hiring of Muschamp. I know Meyer didn't leave the cupboard empty for Muschamp but by their record you might think that.

I think their team is terrible because they're smoking the real stuff. Maybe they should go "synthetic". Seems to be working for the corndogs.

WR Clark muffed a punt or 2 against the boogers. Might be pressured into leaving Gainesville.  :dunno:

muschamp seems like a very intense person without as much control or focus as Saban.  It almost seems like Dooley and Muschamp are 2 halves of the whole.  Neither seem to have what it takes by themselves to run a program that size.  I could be wrong.  I think Muschamp is gonna have major recruiting issues if he can't even keep the ones he has.

Not only getting them there but how does he impose discipline to any of them when he can't even control himself. The Gators have a pretty big track record of players getting into fights, especially at the bars.
