It appears that Bama has LSU beat in many categories, although the teams are close. The two areas where LSU has Bama beat are the kicking/field position game and turnover margin. Bama has LSU beat on penalties. So, the game might come down to turnovers (or lack thereof) and field position. If Bama can avoid turning over the ball, and do a decent job in the kicking game (still giving up a few yards), and LSU gets its penalties, then statistically Bama wins!
