Title: LSU week is finally here. Post by: bama87 on October 30, 2011, 05:43:14 PM It is time to focus on the next opponent and that is LSU. We need to stay sharp and take care of our business. No one comes to our house and survives. I believe we have an opportunity to show the world what this team is all about. LSU has not played a team like us, that said it will take maximum effort to win. The only team that will quit will be LSU.

I think Bama will rise to the occasion because of that. Bama's "D" is better than LSU's, plain and simple. Bama may have the best "D" ever in college football. LSU's is good, real good, but doesn't match up to Bama's. Bama's offense is also better. AJ really showed his ability in the 2nd half of the Tennessee game. I only see him getting better Saturday. TR is the difference maker. He doesn't need much of a hole to explode through and he consistently drags people with him. I don't see that changing Saturday. Much has been made of the LSU running backs and always having fresh legs. No advantage there over Bama. I put our RB talent over any team. My only concern is the kicking game. Everything considered, I think we overcome that. RTR!!!!

It is one of the most hostile enviroments in all of college football. Since Coach Saban's second year (2008) we are 25-1 at home. 2. Offense: Bama is very balanced. We average 229 yard rushing and 228 yards passing. We have a difference maker in BATR. He is the leading Heisman Trophy canidate for a reason. Even if you stack the line TR will beat you with short screens and dump off passes. He is a first down machine. LSU has not faced an OL like ours. They will open holes for TR and give AJ time to find open receivers. 3. Defense: Both teams have good defenses. The difference is our team speed. We have future NFL stars all over the field. Les Miles trick plays will not work against this years defense. 4. Coaching: Alabama has the best coach in the nation in Coach Saban. He will have our players prepared and ready to play. It happens, and let's not be so quick as to point to the SEC as the major example. You were not saying that, 55, but others have been. USCw, OSUc, and UTx, and Va Tech/Miami from the ACC---all down this season. Watching the end of the USC vs Stanford game last night it also occurred to me that it seems that Pac 12 officials are doing all possible to get their only BCS champion hope to New Orleans, as much as I dislike Kiffin he got a hose job in that game last night.
