The senior threw a quick jab at the Alabama defense in a Wednesday interview in Baton Rouge. “I think I can play a big role because I feel like their linebackers can’t guard me one-on-one. They’re slow,” he told reporters. “I don’t think their safeties can either. If the ball comes my way, I’ll make an opportunity with it.” Alabama linebacker Courtney Upshaw said he’d heard rumblings of some verbal sparring when asked about it Wednesday evening, but Alabama media relations suggested avoiding any response. Haven't they seen what happens when a player mouths off about an opponent? That opponent shows up to kick their tails. I believe we will win and win with class. I prefer to talk "smack" AFTER we win the game. Until then, it's better to just believe we will win, say we will win. Then AFTER the win, all bets are off - let the smack begin :) lol
