Some team barely gets into the NCAA Tournament and quickly gets ushered out. Just as quickly, someone starts a ridiculous debate. Is it better to make the NCAA Tournament for 40 minutes, as UAB did, or go to the NIT and make a run to New York, as Alabama is trying to do? For first-hand insight, I asked an expert who's made short stays and deep runs in each event. Mark Gottfried laughed.
