The top eight teams are the same in both major polls.

LSU is ranked No. 1, followed by Oklahoma State and Stanford. Last week, Oklahoma State was ranked No. 3 and Stanford was ranked No. 4.

The next four teams did not move up or down. Undefeated Boise State is ranked No. 5, followed by Oregon, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Oklahoma State plays host to Oklahoma on Dec. 3.

Stanford plays host to Oregon on Saturday.

If both teams lose, an LSU-Alabama rematch in the BCS Championship Game would be a possibility.

The new BCS standings will be released at 7:30 p.m. CST today on ESPN.

OK so we're 4th in both polls.  Best we could have hoped for.

I would not be surprised at all to see OSU or Stanford drop a game.  It's not over yet.

I'm not getting my hopes up.
