I think he has clearly had a mental/performance anxiety type of issue ever since he came to Bama. Now that he has gotten his "bad game" out of the way it might take some pressure off of him and let him relax a little, which could make all the difference in the world. He no longer has to worry about what will happen if he misses a bunch of FGs in a game that we could have won if even one of them had gone through. That is exactly what happened, and the sun still rose on Sunday morning. And now he sees that his team has his back. Letting go of that fear of failure could free him up to be the Cade that we all expected when he committed. Maybe.
