Man, this will be a tough one to call. I realize that Joe Pa has been sitting in the booth at the games and doesn't seem to have been that involved with any of the game decisions but will the players be mentally ready or will they come out mad as a nest of yellow jackets?

I have no idea if Penn State will show up and play.  Some of the seniors are hinting that they may refuse to play at all.  It's a tough week to predict scores, Bama-MSU included.

I am a little skiddish every time Bama plays at Starkville, this is their BCS game this year and they can play very tough at home at times. They sure don't give up many points over there.

I hope PSU is doing something to beef up security at their game. Those kids are still going to be upset, and fueled with alcohol on top of that, well, it could be a bad situation.

Watch 'em play some "sorry to the victims" crap. Totally inappropriate since even a blind man can spot a PR ploy. Students showed their collective "spoiled rotten punks" routine last night.

PSU players may come out just like the booger players did honoring Pat Dye's last game holding their helmets up in the air. Then losing 17-0 to the good guys.

I agree. I feel for Nebraska, there is just to much crap going on there. I would stay way out of town and then bus in to the game.

I think everything that has happened at their campus will be too much to overcome - Nebraska wins big.

They should cancel this game and just forfeit in my opinion.  The game is the most irrelevant thing happening up there right now.

It really isn't fair to Nebraska to be thrown into the middle of all of this.

The Nebraska AD is taking a risk bringing a team to College Station right now. It may be overkill, but the blowback on Nebraska officials will be huge, should a fan start shooting people or some nut case thing. I promise they are discussing this in Lincoln.

No one wants to use those Penn State showers either. :o

Safety should be paramount.

I just saw a message scroll across the bottom of the screen on ESPN that McQueary will not be at the game because he has received multiple death threats.  They need to just go ahead and cancel this game in my opinion.

Did they decide not to put him in the press box? The last I heard, that was their decision.

I watched a little of Game Day this morning and State College is extremely subdues - almost funeral like. I think this bleeds over into the game and PSU gets beat badly.

Must not have bothered players as much as we thought. They went down to the end fighting with a chance to still win the game. RTR!

PSU has been nothing but mediocrity for the last 20 years or so anyway. The officials have done the best they can for this team, over the years, but there is only so much you can do. I am not losing any sleep over them drifting off into obscurity, their child molesting coaching staff with them.

It should be a cold day in child rape Hell before we schedule them again.
