Title: Surprising Comments Coming Out of Vandy About Changes in SEC
Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 15, 2011, 11:59:09 PM
I just don't see all these things happening.

Reform measures for college athletics can be expected quickly, with ideas such as freshman ineligibility rules and higher admissions standards being considered, the Athletics Committee of the Vanderbilt Board of Trust was told during their fall meeting.

Williams also told the board committee that the Southeastern Conference, which recently admitted the University of Missouri and Texas A&M as members, would probably expand by two more schools in the coming few years.

So what is Vandy trying to do? Raise admission standards in the SEC to their level? Hey, I don't want them to dumb down my SEC football.    Vandy, there is the Ivy league.
