Title: "Petrino, Miles have frosty handshake"
Post by: Chechem on November 26, 2011, 06:03:36 AM
Quote
It may have been a balmy November Friday for football, but things certainly got a little frosty late in the game between Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino and LSU coach Les Miles.

Shortly after Drew Alleman’s field goal with 5:08 remaining, CBS showed a slow-motion replay of Petrino pointing toward the LSU sideline and mouthing something.

When the coaches met for their postgame handshake at midfield, Petrino pulled away after two shakes and headed to the Arkansas locker room.

Miles appeared to try to maintain their grasp and could be seen calling out to Petrino as he walked away. Miles then turned and let out a quick, “Wow!” in response before pausing a few steps away to do an interview with CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson.

Asked if he and Petrino had words after the game, Miles quipped: “Not many.”

Petrino reminds me of Muschamp on the sidelines, that stare that they have is spooky.

Patrino did not like LSU keeping their starters in the game and trying to continue to score with a 21 point lead. still throwing the ball and kicking field goals in that situation was running up the score in my and Patrino'o opinion.

Hmmm, do you think that LSU will get a big welcome at Arkansas next year?  ;)

Just wait! We will all get to see a frosty handshake after CNS tacks on a late 4th quarter TD making the final 98-0!

Ha Ha Ha!

Petrino is a punk. He da#@ sure don't mind dropping 40 on someone when he gets the chance. Perhaps he should spend a little more time on defense. Just saying....

he has ran the score up 4 times this year.

The point margin was 24 points. the same point margin between Arky and Bama. i don't think it was as much a run up, it just looked like because after Arky scored two quick TD's early, they only scored a FG the rest of the game.

The Media had Petrino listening to them and he actually thought he could beat LSU. No way was that going to happen. As close of these teams are, Ala. & LSU, beating by the same score just proves they are the best 2 teams in the country. RTR!
