II doesn't exist anymore). Someone like the HC at Georgia Southern, Montana, Montana State, North Dakota State, Sam Houston State, etc. Also, Paul Rhodes at Iowa State, but someone with money at a major program will grab him. Politicians like Jefferson Counties' reps to Alabama state house want UAB so they can skim milk money off of them! That is why Rep Carnes and Rep Rogers ( Dogtrack Rogers that is, plus the Derby Parkway) keep pushing for a new stadium. God sakes people Jefferson County just filed Bankruptcy 2 weeks ago in Federal court for 4.3 billion dollars! 22 politicians from sewer and general fund bankruptcy are in prison or have already served and are released. Legion Field is too good for them. They need to be playing at Lawson Field. Most 6A high schools in the state draw more fans than UAB. They should drop football and keep their other sports. Football may pay all the bills at large schools but it is a big expense at schools that do not have fan support.

Mike Price - guy in the office next to mine is a UTEP grad. He says they've expected Price to retire after this year all along.
