Title: Leach to be next Washington State coach Post by: SUPERCOACH on November 30, 2011, 02:52:44 PM Quote Mike Leach has verbally agreed to become the next head coach at Washington State. Leach was offered the position late Tuesday afternoon, CBS learned. The 50-year-old Leach replaces Paul Wulff, who was dismissed Tuesday morning. The hiring of Leach would seem to mesh with Washington State athletic director Bill Moos' comment earlier at the press conference where he announced Wullf's firing that he likes a "flashy, high-octane offense that lights up the scoreboard." http://bruce-feldman.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/view/31626208 Title: Re: Leach to be next Washington State coach Post by: cbbama99 on November 30, 2011, 02:54:47 PM Quote Mike Leach has verbally agreed to become the next head coach at Washington State. Title: Re: Leach to be next Washington State coach Post by: pmull on November 30, 2011, 03:05:05 PM I think it is a good hire. He is a nut job but if you can win 8-10 games a year at Texas Tech you are a pretty good coach.
Remember when Texas Tech had the highest scoring offense in the country and Mike Shula's 2005 Tide team held them to 10 points in the Cotton Bowl. |
