Singing along with the Crimson Tide fight song, the mostly student crowd reveled in the prospect of a rematch with No. 1 LSU with everything at stake in New Orleans. Over in Birmingham, a similar scene played out at the Alabama football team banquet. CBS sports writers didn't care if the story broke and started tweeting they own stories around then. I guess they felt since it was CBS and 2 top SEC schools they have over a billion dollars in TV contracts , like well what the hey! David Polleck. with ESPN also started tweeting it early. |
