Quote More than 70% of the voters in the last USA TODAY Coaches Poll of the regular season cast their ballots for an LSU-Alabama rematch in the Bowl Championship Series national title game. Title: Re: USA TODAY Top 25 college football coaches' ballots Post by: BAMAWV on December 05, 2011, 03:07:09 PM CNS picked OSU 4th. Troy Calhoun (AF) picked OSU 5th (behind Stanford and Arkansas).
Those that picked the Tide 3rd: >:( Zook, Tuberville, Tedford, Stoops, Rhoads, Quinn, Mendenhall, Hudspeth, Golden, Fedora, Dykes, Cutcliffe, Christensen, Briles, Bielema, Beckman, Bailiff. Cutcliffe actually picked Bama 2nd. I was just about to reply that Cutcliffe voting Bama 3rd was a surprise. Glad he didn't. I understand that prick Tuberville, and one can hardly blame Stoops (after getting run over last weekend). Who let Zook vote? :-X Title: Re: USA TODAY Top 25 college football coaches' ballots Post by: BAMAWV on December 05, 2011, 07:08:49 PM Harris Poll results shows voters picks.

One guy keeps :deadhorse: about the OSU team dealing with the death of the women basketball coaches. I'm not trying to make light of the situation, but I doubt any of the players were all besties with them. It didn't bother them enough to keep them from jumping out on ISU 24-7. Did grief suddenly overcome them at that point? Did grief suddenly overcome them at that point? Your? Pleeeeeeeeease. I was traveling and listened to that game on the radio. Iowa State moved the ball from the first kickoff, but they threw interceptions, fumbles, etc. The radio station was an OSU broadcast, and there was definitely no mention of team slumber. They talked about celebration on the sidelines and chest bumps, etc. My experience has been that fb players and coaches make fun of women's sports. I doubt they were close. Maybe they were bummed about the deaths, but no way it affected their play. They only learned of the crash that day (and they were in Iowa, not on campus, so they missed the trauma of the news). Yep, I'm sick of the OSU whining too. I wish we could have played them to see who gets LSU. We only have one game left this season. :( Title: Re: USA TODAY Top 25 college football coaches' ballots Post by: ssmith general on December 06, 2011, 08:36:54 AM I heard finebaum driving around giving saban trouble for voting oks 4th, a few points.
1. Advantages are hard to get, Saban had one he could use. 2. It's easy to justify putting Stanford ahead of Oklahoma state, their loss is much more quality. 3. His vote did not impact the results. 4. Finebaum is a d-bag. Finebaum is a d-bag. Yeah, I was listening to that as well. I don't understand why CNS can't say OSU is a great team and have done a great job and vote them 4th. I think being ranked 4th is pretty good ranking. :dunno: Title: Re: USA TODAY Top 25 college football coaches' ballots Post by: BAMAWV on December 06, 2011, 09:53:53 AM Things developed for the best. If OSU was so morose, overcome by grief in the ISU game. They will be waaaay too sulky to play in a BCSNCG since they stomped, stampeded all over each other after the OU game.
