FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP)—No. 7 Arkansas is undergoing a coaching staff overhaul.

Defensive coordinator Willy Robinson resigned Tuesday, becoming the third Arkansas assistant to leave in the last two days. Former offensive coordinator Garrick McGee was named the Alabama-Birmingham head coach on Monday, the same day former special teams coach John L. Smith left to coach at Weber State.

Robinson led the Razorbacks defense for four seasons, coming to Arkansas after serving as the secondary coach for the St. Louis Rams. The 55-year-old also spent one season as the San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator in 2004.

I think Petrino's brother is taking over the defense. In all reality this is more of an off season shakeup that happens sometimes when the assistants are offered an opportunity to better themselves.

How many brothers does Petrino have? The article said his brother, Paul Patrino, is taking over the OC and QB coach responsibilities.

Where is DC Willy Robinson going? The article does not say.  ???

FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas’ football program has parted ways with Willy Robinson.

The embattled Razorbacks’ defensive coordinator resigned Tuesday after four years at the school, according to a release. Robinson, who also coached defensive backs, is not expected to coach in Arkansas’ Cotton Bowl game against Kansas State on Jan. 6.

Arkansas’ defense annually ranked toward the bottom of the Southeastern Conference in statistics during Robinson’s tenure.

It has already been a busy off-season for Arkansas,

I just assumed that he was the replacement for the defense coach that just left.  :dunno:
