He is talikng about running for the US Senate. Whenm I heard PF talking about James running for office I figured it was a house of Rep seat in Texas, boy was I wrong, he is running for Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison's vacant seat, a Republican who is not running for re-election.

Do people get up one morning and decide to raise and spend millions on an election for one of two senate seats in Texas? No they don't.

 ???

Most politicians, just like head coaches, start out running for a small political office like mayor or councilman. Then when they are successful move up to another office and stay several terms, the advance some more.

Most normal people don't start out running for a US Seanate seat. Just don't.

Senator Craig James?

The community organizer was bought and paid for by Geroge Soros. Now he is having to make good on all his promises!

Talk about an inflated opinion of oneself.  He is no more qualified than the man on the moon. Name recognition and star power may get him through a democratic primary but republicans see through that kind of nonsense. Maybe he can get Dr. Lou to work on his campaign.

He is perfectly suited for politics. Slimy, egotistical, greedy, and a complete lack of ethics. Yep, he should do just fine. He might even be president one day.

I don't get why you all are so down on James. I think he would make a perfect politician. He's vain, narcisstic, arrrogant, thinks he's smarter than everyone else, and is good at lying and stabbing people in the back. Just ask Mike Leach.

I know it's perfect (as a politician).  But for once I'd like to have someone who deserves a vote (and then does something good for the country).  ???

He meets one qualification to enter politics. He is a douchebag.

Two qualifications - he also has a sense of entitlement.

I'll be happy when he leaves ESPN.

I hope he leaves ESPN, loses the election in a land slide, then has to get a job on some local station out in Texas as the sports reporter, where he is never to be heard from again.  Except maybe by the poor guys in his local TV market.  But they can always watch a different network.

I guess his first piece of legislation is to ban work sheds on college campuses.
Second, to prevent anyone bad mouthing his little boy.
Third, he will seek federal death penalty against anyone named Leach.

No, if elected he'll sit on his arse like the rest of them.

How do I fall for this?   :(
