South Carolina will eliminate six football scholarships in the next three years as punishment for committing three major NCAA violations, the school announced Wednesday. The most egregious violations (to me) at UNC were academic misconduct by players, apparently with the approval of coaches. Then there were recruiting violations and such. This USCe stuff mostly is misappropriation of funds and improper benefits. I've forgotten, but it was a laundry list of violations at UNC. They face several years of limited recruiting (I'd guess).
