Title: Juco CB Belue postpones signing with Tide; update: he's aboard. His accolades were very well listed there, for athletic ability. Well done Deione. Look forward to seeing you get on the practice field at Alabama. RTR!
Title: Re: Juco CB Belue postpones signing with Tide Post by: Tirras on December 21, 2011, 08:51:10 PM Belue twitted that he signed his papers today. Which would indicate that he is cleared to enroll in the spring. Maybe he is talking about some other papers.... :dunno:
I personally don't feel that ESPN has adequate resources dedicated solely to recruiting to be a great source. They have twice posted rumors that were pretty obviously fabricated to get a rise out of people, and 9 hours after Yeldon had flipped, ESPN still had no story up about it, but did have the piece about Yeldon being firmly committed to the tigers on their main page. I am not saying they are wrong, but they don't seem to verify their sources that much. Belue didn't say what papers he signed on his Twitter. Possibly he wasn't talking about his LOI. :dunno: Title: Re: Juco CB Belue postpones signing with Tide Post by: McBaman on December 22, 2011, 01:13:13 PM Personally, I'll be very "belue" if he is unable to enroll as he wants.
Title: Re: Juco CB Belue postpones signing with Tide Post by: crtuneman on December 22, 2011, 04:50:39 PM According to Wooly, he has signed his LOI and will be here in January. I am in awe of Coach Saban's recruiting abilities. I was worried about our secondary next year with us losing Dre, Barron, Menzie, and possibly Lester, but with Belue and Dixon signing, those 2 guys should plug right in and keep the pass D in lockdown mode. With those 2, Dee Millner returning, and John Fulton waiting in the wings (he was a 5 star if you remember) our corners should be just as good as this year. And Lester may return (I hope he does) and Clinton-Dix is waiting to make his debut, and with other Perry and other young talent, our secondary won't miss a beat. Our D should be scary good next year just like this year. We really are just reloading year after year. It's a great time to be rollin with the Tide!

Our D should be scary good next year just like this year. We really are just reloading year after year. It's a great time to be rollin with the Tide! We're reloading on offense also. AJ will be seasoned and our bevy of RB's will be 2nd to none. I think the WR's will be more developed also. Looks like we're reloading both on "D" and "O". I was very impressed with our incoming FG kicker, when watching him in the Georgia HS championship game. That should be a great improvement. Our special teams, after lacking somewhat on punting and coverage the last couple of years, may be our only question mark. Everyone is talking about LSU being even better next year than this year. I'm thinking we give them a run for their money again. RTR!!! Title: Re: Juco CB Belue postpones signing with Tide Post by: Chechem on December 23, 2011, 05:22:02 AM UPDATE: Deion Belue signs...
