In My Mind: "Big Daddy"

Reality: "What's your name again?"

Actually for some reason pet names have never really developed for us in the 7 years we have been married. He just go by the old standby of "honey" or "sweetheart". Sometimes I call her "babe". (No Styx references, please!!!  :P)

My husband and I have companion nicknames...Mar-bear and Er-bear.  Don't judge.  He likes to sing a lot and we make up songs all the time.  One of the nonsense songs is called "Hot Sexy _ _" (insert nickname of choice).  When we were newlyweds I made his birthday cake and wrote "Happy Birthday Hot Sexy" which was completely a JOKE and not a serious come-on. He showed it to his mother without realizing what was actually written on it.   :-[ Aw-kward!

That made me LOL so loud, my co-workers walked to my desk.  Couldn't think of anything quickly to cover up my forum use, so I just said I farted.   :-[   :D

I could tell you what TAZ calls me, but this would probably get deleted in a micro-second.   :what:

my husband just calls me "honey" on occasion. We aren't too much on nicknames.
Of course now, I'm going to have to listen carefully to see if he uses any others :D

I learned early that women aren't always right, but we men never are.

I hear ya CB. You'll notice I stated a fact (they aren't always right), and not what they think (they are always right).  ;)

I think I have seen you before...Legion field, one of my first bama games.  This guy was getting told how it was by his wife and he just said in a completely flat voice :yes dear, you're right...you're al-ways RIGHT>"  My sisters and I laughed so hard.
