Title: Boise State senior team wins 50 games. Update: Boise 56-24
Post by: Coach Hank Crisp on December 22, 2011, 10:31:38 PM
Boise State QB Moore and senior team may have won 50 games. But what else have they won! plus who have they played?

Alabama has won 47 games during the same time as BSU won 50 games. Alabama still has one more game to play. If they win in Jan 9th, this senior class will have won 2 SEC West Titles, 1 SEC titles and 2 National Championships.

In 2009, Alabama won the NC! They beat the last three National Champions in LSU, Florida, and Texas. Plus they had beaten the past 2 SEC East and West Champions, and the past BIG12 conference champion in Texas.

Like I said who has Boise State beaten?

Virginia Tech, Georgia, um..., wait, that's not the same season.  Um, Nevada?  No they lost that one.  Or was that last year?  TCU, uh, definitely last year, or the year before.  TCU beat them on the blue turn this year, and showed that they were a national contending team by blowing out LA Tech in the Autozone Bowl, or was that the Progressive Insurance Bowl?  Liberty.com free aps bowl?  Even if they didn't blow out LA Tech, at least TCU beat LA Tech by 7 late in the 4th Quarter.  Yeah, Vince Dooley had some great recruits @ LA Tech.  Gotta think TCU is a powerhouse to keep Boise State out of the national championship game this year.

Hmm, I cannot think of a full season's worth of games in Boise State's past five seasons.  Even picking out the best teams over the past 5 years, it might amount to a Conference USA Schedule.  I think So. Miss would take them.

It's not that I hate Boise State.  It's just that, well,  I hate them.  I hate their blue turf, their dentally-challenged QB, their self-righteous indignation.  I hate that they count games won in barns, that they schedule exactly one game each season, that they lose to Nevada or TCU and still are considered a top-10 team.

Anyway, as far at the Outcast Bowl on tonight, AZ State had the ball 4th and goal @ the one-yard-line and threw a 100+ yard pick-six.  Not that AZ State would have won anyway,  but that's all you need to know about the game.  Already losing, pick-6, fired coach's last game, Rich Rod is coming next year, so the players just quit.

Did you know that UCLA had a "tradition" of Seniors skipping practice?  Yeah, they jump the fence and run off -- actually noticed by the new coach during bowl practice.  His response?  First, this tradition if over.  Second, those running off might as well keep on going.

But I digress.  ROLL TIDE!!!

Oh I forgot to mention that if Alabama beats LSU and wins the NC next month they will have beaten the last four winners of the National Championship Title.

Florida  '06
LSU      '07
Florida  '08
Auburn '10

Also Alabama's 47 wins and losses.

5 out of the 6 losses came from schools who have won National Championships, or from coaches that have won National Championships.
Only exception is Utah.

Lost to Florida in'08 and Utah in '08
Lost to USCe in '10, lost to LSU '10 and the boogers in '10
Lost to LSU in '11.

January 9th 2012 Alabama will deliver a payback from hell!

Who would schedule an 11-1 team against a 6-6 one?

It's sad that a 6-6 team is even in a bowl game, and there are several 6-6 teams in bowl games this year, and even a 6-7 UCLA team is in. Hell, let's just reward all teams with a bowl game that didn't go 0-fer.  >:(

It should be mentioned that Utah was undeated 12-0 team. We have not had a bad loss since CNS first year.
