Crimson Tide safety Mark Barron was among those participating. He wore a black non-contact jersey and took part in drills. Barron is recovering from a torn pectoral muscle he suffered in a 28-27 loss to Auburn in November. Barron, who announced in January he would return for his senior season, was arrested Sunday morning in Mobile for second-degree misdemeanor hindering prosecution. Barron led the Crimson Tide with 75 tackles last season.
