Title: Jeff Stoutland same substance, different style, as Tide's OL coach.
Post by: Yellow Pup on December 26, 2011, 07:40:00 AM
"Joe's a tremendous teacher. Jeff's a little more high strung," DeLeone said. "Joe's a legend in this profession. Jeff has a little different style. ... He's emotional, he's enthusiastic, but it's real. He wears it on his sleeve, and it comes from his heart."

I'm wondering if he will be around next year. From what we all read earlier this year on all the shenanigans that went on in Miami when he was there kinda makes me think CNS may ease him out quietly with a NCG ring. I hope the info is baseless though.

I like the way he has to look up to KUJO. He is going to a tackle for the NFL sooner than later. Be his job next year. RTR!

I thought that about Pannuzio (spelling?) but Stoutland's name only came up once I think(which could be a mistake).  Pannuzio's role seemed much more deliberate and recurring.

My memory is like yours HL. Pannuzio (I went with the HL spelling ?) was in the middle of the Miami stuff. Stoutland was on the Miami staff but appeared to not be involved in any wrong doing.

I like what he has done. How many times did he shuffle the players due to injuries, etc., but had very little dropoff of success. I think he has developed Warmack into a much better player, too bad he wasn't here earlier for the outgoing Sr linemen that didn't see much playing time.

I agree. I think he has done a good job with the OL too.
