But as the Advocate points out, a million dollars is probably pretty close to what it will cost to get both schools' bands to the Jan. 9 showdown, housed and fed, including tickets to the game. A million bucks for the band to go to the game seems high. There is about 400 members in the MDB. That is $2,500 per person. Deduct the price of the game ticket and they are still traveling in style. |
