I'm seeing tweets about that too.  Apparently he did not show up for a meeting for early enrollees at LSU.

Maybe that is why Saban asked Juntin Long to grey shirt.

Wouldn't that be funny if he decided to come to UA after that NCG beat down?

The rumor is Notre Dame though, but it is all rumor at this point.

Sounds like he is a headcase - better off without him.

Just what I ws thinking. You just don't promise to show up and then disappear with no word or phone call. Very rude and inconsiderate, makes him look very bad and immature.

Well I wouldn't declare him a nutter yet.  Cyrus K situation was weirder and he's turning out great (of course I think there was something shady about Auburn on that).  He maybe just got a huge dose of reality after seeing how LSU fans hinge (and unhinge) on the players whenever anything goes wrong.  Too much pressure.  Bama fans tend to take it out on the coach (which thankfully we haven't had to do lately)

I don't think this young man would survive CNS's demands of a football player and as a person, seems that quitting is pretty easy for him.

Thanks to CNS and his staff, we are in a position in which we can be happy if he joins us, and if not, meh.

I don't care of he joins us or not, but after reading the LSU in game thread the other night I think it is hilarious that he bolted on them.  They were calling for Lee in the 1st Qtr.  They were livid by the end of the game.  Many of them were saying the only good thing about that game was that JJ AND Lee would be gone and their QB play would be fantastic next year with Kiel and Mett? (transfer from UGA?) competing for the job during spring ball.

Perhaps the reality of the QB coaching at LSU hit home with him after witnessing the NCG.

IDK, I think he would want to go to a school where the HC will keep you in the entire game, no matter how bad you sucked.

There is nothing wrong with a young man checking out several schools to see where he wants to go. It is smart to compare schools and decide which school fits your requirements both in football and academics. However, this guy is going about it all wrong. He needs his father or HS coach to step in and help him make a mature decision.

No. No. No.  Parents should NEVER have any input as to where their kid goes to college.  :eyeroll:

I think I'll mosey on over to "Tigerdroppings" and read his well-wishes from the LSU faithful.

Actually, only about half of them at "Tigerdroppings" were flaming him. The funniest response was after this quote from Kiel:

"My mom broke down in tears when I started packing my bags for Baton Rouge. I felt sorry for her and knew that I wouldn't able to live with myself if I left her that way. In reality, I am settling for Notre Dame because it is close to home and it is the best option that will keep my mom happy and allow me not to feel guilty."

Response from "Frankie Knuckles": "My mom cried when I went to LSU and we lived in Metairie."
