This kid needs to be found and then make an example out of him, regardless of whether the victim ever comes forward.  This is totally out of control.  How did the world get so far off track?

I don't approve of what the guy wearing red (I refuse to call him a Bama fan) did but passing out in a Krystal is not acceptable behavior either. That is two drunks in New Orleans, not Alabama and LSU fans.

Randy Patrick is a sportscaster on WKRG-TV in Mobile. If that is his son, he needs to take him behind the wood shed, I don't care how old he is.

I agree and jail time would really be good. They are not fans but but they sure made our name go down according to public view. So sick and so sad that this is what our colleges teaches kids. Well these kids can't be punished the right way or they wouldn't do this kind of stuff. RTR!

It's been all over the Internet.  Yesterday it was on the front page of msnbc and on  College Football Talk. 

I too refuse to recognize them as Alabama fans.

CNS needs to find this idiot, strap him to a tackling dummy, and start letting EL and JF run and hit him at full speed. I guarantee that guy would never drink another drop of liquor for the rest of his life.

Drunk in purple + drunk in crimson + drunk on Bourbon Street = drunk.  They embarrass themselves and their teams.  And, by the way, with the drunken, rioting British soccer fans, what do THEY have to be snotty about?   >:(

Inappropriate?  YES.  Defensible?  NO. 

But what about the people throwing beer bottles at Bama fans...never made the news?  What about the guy who supposedly got a broken jaw from an LSU fan.  Why is that not news?  LSU fans are the worst in the SEC and I don't think it's even CLOSE.  As my hubby's friend Bruce said to me when he heard I was going "you better be skurred...we barely escaped there (Tiger Stadium) without major injury and we didn't escape with our dignity."

Let's hope Old Tider is not a soccer fan.  ;)

No way, 2.  The game puts me to sleep.  The usual scores are 1-0 or 1-1.  When they show the highlights, it's a bunch of missed shots at the goal.

We went to a Rolling Stones concert in 1978 at the Superdome. I had a 1974 Nissan pickup truck. After the show we partied in the French quarter for serveral hours and then headed back to Alabama. I stopped in Slidell for gas. There was a drunk passed out in the bed of my truck. I pulled he out of the truck bed and left him passed out at the gas station island. Otherwise I guess he would have rode back to the house with us. Typical New Orleans.

This kind of stuff goes on all the time. It is usually a shaved eye brow, painted toe nails or the all time favorite shaving cream trick. I remember telling my girls when they were young and going to a girl scout or church group sleepover "don't be the first to go to sleep".
