Title: "Alabama's Courtney Upshaw has least to prove... at Senior Bowl"

They were among the most feared pass-rushers in college football this season. They are perhaps the two players in the Senior Bowl with the highest projections for April's NFL draft.
But while Alabama outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw might have the least to prove on the field of anyone in this week's practices and game, North Carolina defensive end Quinton Coples may have the most.....

Mayock said he was impressed with Upshaw in Alabama's 21-0 win over LSU in the BCS championship game and believes his skills will fit in any defensive scheme, which makes him a valuable draft commodity.

He's obviously in agreement with all the kudos, lol. I remember seeing that on TV and cracked up. I was surprised that I was able to find this.

When they put him on national TV, I said: "Oh my God, please behave."  He was so wired it scared me.

Upshaw will do great.

I posted an article back a month ago or so about Upshaw that had all the details of his childhood and growing up in Eufaula Alabama. His family lived at or below the poverty level.

He received help from neighbors from a young age. The NCAA even approved of the help he received before he was allowed to come to UA. He was basically rasied by the family that lived accross the street from him.

I wish him all the success in the world. RTR!
