I thought it was a good debate last night. I am having trouble deciding between Newt and Romney. They both looked pretty good to me. I can find pros and cons on both. I wish Paul would get out of this race. He is just taking up space at this point. Santorum is not bad but he is too far behind to catch up at this point IMO. I am ready for this to become a two man race.

Getting the strongest candidate we can that will beat Obama is not an option. It has to happen.

What do you guys think?

I think your absolutely right pmull. If the two guys would get out and both support Newt he would win this race. Then, in a debate he would tear Obama up. I do also think Mitt would beat Obama too. We need somebody that will rebuild our Defense and get us back in the Space Race. I see Newt is working on this already. RTR!

I think were are in trouble. The GOP candidates just seem weak to me.

BO will have the bully pulpit of the president's office to work from and an endless supply of money to smash on these candidates. Newt's past will be front page and leadoff stories on the lame stream media. Romney is in the middle and not a true conservative.

The other 2 will be gone.

It looks like Romney is starting to look like the GOP nominee. Newt is really slinging mud right now and it is only making him look desperate. The quicker we can get down to one man and the entire republican party support him the better. I think Obama has a difficult road to re-election. I think the election is the republicans to lose. There are a lot of democrats ready to get Obama out of office.
