Title: How Bad (or Good) Is It on NSD for the barn?
Post by: carl childers on January 31, 2012, 10:35:46 AM
One thing I have noticed is that Bama seems to try to get the hay in the barn (no pun intended :) ) early and often in the recruiting process, while Auburn seems to want to make a last minute splash. As a result, there is not a lot of drama on NSD for Bama, while the barn seemes to want to make headlines on NSD for dramatic announcements. Am I wrong in this assumption?

Personally, I think the way the barners do it is extremely risky. They seem to be putting all their eggs in one basket, but think about some of the ones waiting until the last minute. The might get a few, but it looks like some of the big names are going elsewhere. This could really turn out to be a dud day for the barn. What do y'all think?

They will find a bright side no matter how bad the day is for them, they always do.  Delusional idiots.

I agree. It is very risky to only have 16 commitments the day before signing. The barns numbers are low. They need to sign 25. They are still after some good recruits but I doubt they get over one or two of the big names. I expect them to fill the 25 limit with several recruits that no one else wanted. There is no reason the barn does not have a top 10 signing class except for the fact that Chiz does not know what he is doing.

This is how the barn finds out who signs with them and who doesn't! They watch ESPN.

This is how Alabama fans watch. Ready made name plates that "Fax Cam Girl" puts up.

The coaching staff doesn't watch because they are busy recruiting next years class! They know who they have signing for current class.

Whoa! What a pretty girl. Add that as another reason players sign with Bama.
