If I owned the team I would not pay Manning and just say it's a business decision. Explain to the fans that money is limited and say what a great player Manning has been. Irsay is trying to get too slick and it will backfire on him.

I would rather see him retire as a Colt when he is on top of his game rather than be traded from team to team with a bad ending to an otherwise fantastic career. He is 35 and had a good run. Maybe it is time to retire? :dunno:

I just hope he doesn't call AD Hart at UT after Dooley is gone. I would hate to see him at UT because he would be probably be a great recruiter. Otherwise his career might end like Joe Montana's did at the Chiefs. |
